A CLAT 2025 Exam Overview for the Admission to India’s Most Recognised Law Universities Applicants for admission to undergraduate and graduate law programmes offered by several national law institutes (NLUs) in India must pass an entrance exam known as the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Purpose

Admission to Laws Studies: The CLAT is the first step towards admission to undergraduate (LLB) and postgraduate (LLM) degree judicial programmes offered by 22 NLUs and other universities that accept CLAT scores.

CLAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Qualification for Law Course Admission

It is advised that before submitting the CLAT 2025 application, candidates study the eligibility conditions as specified by the consortium.

Education Qualification Class 12 or equivalent exam having a minimum of 40 percent for SC and ST categories and 45 percent, for General category. Three-year or five-year LLB programmes, having minimum 50%  Marks to the General category and 45% Marks to the SC and ST category.

Note:Applicants may submit an application for the CLAT Exam 2025 if they are taking the qualifying exam.

Conducting Organisation Body:

The CLAT test is administered by the Consortium of National Law Universities on a rotational basis. the responsibility of conducting the annual Consortium of National Law Universities examination.

Registration:

Registration for CLAT 2025 will open the first week of July 2024.
